Idon’t know why, but all my previous trips led to eastern countries. I know what to expect from Asia’s culture and people’s habits but….in America I have never been before. This made my trip more uncertain, interesting and moge magic…I couldn’t wait to landing in Havana!

This vacation fell upon me unexpectedly … quickly, decisively, and without any special thought where to go. As it happened, that Cuba was in my mind for quite some time but has so far failed to…I didn’t even know why. I finally found out that there is a possibility to make my dreams came true.

Flight from Warsaw via Paris was characterized by learning about my traveling companion and the mutual exchange of expectations as to the places we wanted to see. We built concrete plan of the expedition but it turned out that during the journey we had to changed this every day. I admit that it really suited me because we didn’t know when and where we will be next day. But we knew very well what we wanted to see.
Both we were going to Cuba for the first time …. we met each other on a travelers internet news group. Joined us desire to explore this distant country.

The airport itself is not the pleasent place but I admit that idea to mask some imperfections in design by the national flags was really good. The taxi and the journey to the center…showed us climate we expected to feel over the next three weeks … I liked everything from the beginning. I do not want to write about the entire journey in one thread, but with time I will describe each of its stages in separate posts.But now I invite you to view selected photos…..
